中国铁通集团公司

中国铁通是经国务院批准、信息产业部核准、国家工商管理局注册，由铁道部及所属铁路局（集团）公司共同出资组建的国有大型运营企业，于2000年12月26日正式成立，是国内继中国电信之后又一家具有固定电话经营权的运营商，全称中国铁通集团有限公司。中国铁通已在全国29个省市和大多数的地级城市成立了分公司，拥有国内第二大固定电话网，覆盖全国500多个大中城市、700多个县乡、镇，交换局所1184个，总容量2000多万用户线。铁通网与电信网目前在200多个城市实现了互联互通。铁通拥有覆盖全国铁路沿线的通信网络资源，已建成以74个局间枢纽为核心、 243个长途汇接局为骨干的长途交换网，160万条长途中继线，通信线路12万公里，其中干线光缆7万公里， 数字微波1.2万公里。目前采用密集波分复用（DWDM）技术的光缆近3万公里，铁通还拥有互联接入服务（ISP）、互联网信息服务（ICP） 等增值业务、视频业务、数据业务、无线寻呼业务、综合信息服务、宽带综合服务等等。
